Highly regarded brick and stone supplier relocates to Wharfebank Mills

Wharfebank Mills, Otley, is now attracting businesses from Leeds and Wakefield. One of our newest clients has set up an office in Lower Wharfe House, overlooking the river near the eastern entrance to the estate.

BBS (Brick and Stone Limited) have offices in Wakefield (West Yorkshire); Kimcote (Leicestershire); and Edinburgh, and now Otley, from where they can service the whole of the UK and Ireland.

BBS, a specialist supplier of stone, granite, and facing-bricks to the construction industry, also act as a brick merchant/factor.

Managing Director, Fraser Young, told us:

“We sell more natural stone than we can produce at our Halifax production yard, so we employ high quality sub-contract masons to work with BBS as required.

“We also have exclusive supply agreements with many UK and foreign quarries/manufacturers. “

He also went on to say:

“Having looked at many potential office locations around North Leeds, BBS decided Wharfebank Mills was perfect for us not only in terms of location but also for the overall facilities and the connected ‘business community’ which the management company actively promote.

“Moving offices after 18-years was always going to be painful however Siobhan, Linda, and Jane have done all they can to assist, minimising the disruption and welcoming us, which has been very much appreciated.”

BBS specialises in

  • Sandstone, gritstone, limestone, and reclaimed stone
  • Imported granite
  • Facing-bricks
  • Clay and Concrete Landscaping

BBS also has an in-house AutoCAD design facility to help take architectural drawings from the concept stage through to finalising the individual component details ready for manufacture.
