Wharfebank Mills Gets Ready to Welcome Otley Cycle Race!

The West Yorkshire town of Otley will be making sporting headlines again on Wednesday 28th June, as the town plays host to the 32nd consecutive Otley Cycle Race.

And Wharfebank Mills is proud to be supporting the event by providing car parking for visitors and race participants on the day.

Every year the country’s best riders, both male and female, head for the picturesque market town to take part in the event which has been won in the past by local cycling heroes Lizzie Armitstead (2014) and Scott Thwaites (2011 and 2012).

The full race timetable can be found by visiting https://www.otleycycleraces.co.uk.

Fingers crossed the weather provides the best conditions for riders and spectators, although the main events will be televised for those who cant make it on Wednesday.

Whatever the weather it should be an exciting event that puts Otley on the map.

Good luck from Wharfebank Mills.
